When you look in the mirror, do you really “see” what is there or are you using a critical eye and “see” everything that is wrong? When you look at fashion magazines, do you have a vision of what you would like to look like?
At StyleCAMP we talk about creating the “vision of yourself”. We learn about what it means to have a different style personality and discover what your style personality is.
It is a process that begins your personal journey to style.
We all have a vision of what we would like to look like. We also have a vision of how we would like others to see us. Sometimes the problem is we don’t live this vision. Having a vision and learning how to live in the reliance of that vision takes practice. It must be practiced every day until the truth of the vision is realized in us.
Every bit of our training and learning how is channeled in that direction. Just as a baby learns to walk, you will stumble and fall, but again, just like a baby you mustn’t give up. Rely on the vision and the hope of things to come. As in most projects, begin with the end in mind!
- What is your vision for yourself?
- Write it down, cut out pictures, make a collage,
- Does is resonate with who you are as a person or are you trying to be someone else?
- Spend time focusing on what things you like in your closet
- Try a style out for a few weeks to see how it feels? Does it “feel” like you?
- Assess what does feel right for you and hold on to that piece as you move forward
What vision you have for yourself? Not as you see yourself now, but as you would like to see yourself?
Rely on that vision and push on toward that goal! Do everything you can to train yourself and your vision will be realized in you and you will:
“Look Good, Feel Great and Have FUN Doing It!”
