The last 2 weeks have been a very busy week for our makeover winner, Kathy Powell.
On July 7th, she had her colors and makeup done. We learned that Kathy was a “Soft Autumn”. Check out the video below and watch as she gets her colors done!

Good eye! It was very interesting. As you know color is 3 dimensional. True Autumn was far too warm and Dark Autumn was too deep and dark. When she was draped with the Soft Autumn palette, harmony was there! It was warm, dark and soft. It was amazing. That is one reason why I never suggest what “season” someone might be on first blush. Using true day light bulbs is always the best method for accuracy.
